Looking at 2009 Denali

I saw that as well. Sometimes things sit because the normal customer base for that dealership wouldn't buy a Denali. But it could be a red flag. Let us know what the CarMax says. Also it seemed like it was a little hard to find in the first place so that could be a reason as well. My brother bought a Ram 3500 that was at a dealership for 7 months because the local demographic didn't want a 1 ton Cummins. So far it's been an amazing truck and he scored a great deal.

I really like the xl by me but it's tan interior. My kids might be ******* it and it will show dirt easier.

Any idea if it wears better than black?

Also Carfax shows torque converter relaxed along with transmission shift solenoids. Has me a little nervous.

Truck is beautiful though and drives nice. Just don't want to overpay

The tan definitely will show dirt more. I personally like the tan because of the contrasting colors on the inside. They will both wear the same and be fine. Carfax looks great.

I personally do not like tan, but in my case one of the 2 vehicles I am after has a tan interior. With these trucks, beggars can't be choosers.

Tan shows dirt perhaps a bit easier on lighter color, BUT black shows every little speck of white fluff or grain of sand. 6 of 1 and 1/2 dozen the other as the saying goes.

Dark paint looks killer when it is clean and waxed, but white or WDT can go a bit longer between washings and still look cleanish, but does not POP as much as the darker colors.

End of the day, if you love the truck you are driving, you will take better care of it, turn to look at it every time you leave it, will take pride in having a beautiful piece of machinery.

If you didn't care about what you drove, you wouldn't be on here stressing over making this important purchase and just go buy any shitbox and beat it up like so many we see on the road.

I'm sure with 3 little ones its a little harder for me to keep clean more than likely. Its a beautiful truck I just don't know about the tan interior. I like the contrast like stated. Just worried about the cleanliness

My current car is a 2013 Impala LTZ. It has the exact same tan interior as you would find the Yukon Denalis.

From experience: it is much more difficult to keep it cleaner. Although ebony/black will show specks of dust, they WON'T show everything else so easily, which is grime and deep dirt stains/streaks which can make a nice interior look like trash. All it takes is one dark streak and you will think your perfectly clean interior is completely dirty. This is one of the reasons why I'm trying very hard to get an ebony interior truck.

I also will add I know some people with the ebony interior and over time the plastic trim pieces may gouge and scratch and the black looks much worse than the tan does with those. Also like stated twice above the carpet will stay niceer looking on the ebony longer but every little dust spec will show on seats, dash, trim etc. I have weathertechs all the way through on my Denali XL and am not worried and we live in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado and have 4 kids.

Maybe I'll just have to get some weathertechs like you mentioned for it and just clean the interior religiously.

I always wipe down about once a month or so and plan on steam cleaning the carpet once or twice a year depending on how dirty it gets. That one for 21,400 had a black interior so you may want to check it out and you'll be able to tell the differences for yourself. Also the tranny issue on the one from before just look as it as something went wrong and now it's fixed so you should be good. The one thing that can be ******* these trucks is the factory torque management and tuning. They cut a lot of power from the motor and shift pressure from the tranny to make them drive "smoother" but in the end you wear on the trans clutches more by it not locking into the next gear quickly. A Blackbear tune can help with these things as well.

I called and they said 21,000 for it. Dealership seems a little shady after reading the BBB reviews about them. Was also told the owner used the truck for awhile and loved it. So not sure what that all means.

Unfortunately from the little bit of research I have done, now with the 6 speed trans you can't program it the same way. I believe now you need an autocal or efilive unit to load the tune onto and then flash the vehicle. Everything together I believe is around $5-600. But I heard it is still well worth the money. I plan on doing it at some point.

Definitely be worth an email to get the low down from BB. But either way, that custom tune especially in the bigger motor can open a few things up.

I haven't heard of them but I'm not from around there. The only thing I see that it needs is new wheels. Those are the most ugly wheels GM ever made after the 90's, I would have fired the person that designed those thinking they looked good and complimented the niceness of a Denali.

Stay far away from those fly by night dealers. There's usually major issues with the vehicles they sell.

Craigslist ad says 25,900 on the listing. Looks like a 1 owner with a clean carfax. Also pictures look like it was nicely cared for. Has wrap on DVD screen and a couple other places.

Carfax shows 2 very minor damage reports. Both state they happen in a parking lot and vehicle bumped into a parked car.

Last one has my curiosity the most. Carfax shows clean, no accidents and 1 owner. Vehicle only has 59,000 miles on it and listed for 21,495.

Its a 2007 and has everything but the cooled seats that I like.

After the hell I went through trying to find mine, let me try and help.

What are your criteria? Just low price? I honestly would not even consider anything that was in any kind of reported accident, nor from a dealer that doesn't provide Carfax; in this day and age, every single one provides it, so it means probably something to hide.

The '07 looks like it would fit your needs pretty well. It went to dealer regularly and had recalls taken care of. Just decide how important AC seats are. Like we have said before finding some more room in the budget and spending a little more may be best but patience will pay off.

For me, one of the reasons I made sure that I went with the truck that has ventilated seats. It's important to me.
