How or where are you guys getting 5%?? All the shops around here dont go below 27% or whatever

Every shop where I live does it but you have to pay in cash and they tell you it's illegal beforehand.... sketchy.

It's kinda funny because you are allowed to black out the back windows, yes the ones the cop has to walk by first to get to the front window. But you cant do the driver and passenger? Why you ask? Racial profiling. What other reason is there?
No cop is walking up on a closed window anyway, so if the window is down at the time of getting pulled over then who cares how dark it is. It can only be to see what race is driving the vehicle.

It's because your eye uses LIGHT to see. The less light, the less visibility. I had 5% on my fronts years ago. Had to take it off. Parking at night? Forget it. Had to roll the windows down. Right turn at night? Couldn't see if there was someone coming toward me...

Not to mention, you do become a target for cops (and other people who carry guns). Do what you want, but if you hit someone, it's on you.

Where'd you find that? Need to pull up LA. Cops told me a while back when I had my NBS Tahoe with 5% all the way around that even my back windows were illegal and had to be taken off!

so aside from the these dam laws, if we could do what ever we wanted, whats the general consensus? whats the ideal set up? 20%-30% on the front windows with 50% on the windshield and a 5% eyebrow?
