Lift spindles with oem rims

i just got a set of oem 17's from a buddy today. Was looking to put some lift spindles on my 2002 Tahoe and was wondering if anyone tried using the oems with them? If not I can prolly add a 1" spacer or so to get it to fit. Any info on the eBay or amazon lift spindles?

What’s up guys. I hate to bring this back up but was curious if anyone used oem 17’s with lift spindles from Amazon. Looking at getting the ones for $240. In the reviews a few people said their own rims fit on them. Just wanted some conformation from someone that might of used them together first hand.

They are 17s so yeah they should work. Issue is with smaller sizes iirc, clearance for break calipers.

Ok. I think Ima buy some spindles and hope for the best. If not a set of spacers are only 50-60 dollars. Just gonna be out of a truck for a few days .

If you have larger wheels, can you do spindles with more backspacing? I was going to do a spindle lift, but every set I found said that you couldn't have more than 4.625" (or around there) of backspacing - but my 20x9" wheels have 5.71" of backspacing due to the +18 offset. I got +18 offest because every single wheel place I went to told me I couldn't do negative offset wheels unless I did a huge (6"+) lift and probably still cut metal, which I didn't want to do. Of course, now I am reading information that contradicts that, but you would have THOUGHT that the people who do wheels all day every day for a living wouldn't be totally clueless, right?

I already ordered my keys for lift, but if anyone has any specific information about using spindle lifts with 20" wheels and the above backspacing/offset, I'd be appreciative.

That’s awesome! If you can get some pictures with oem rims that would be great. I have a set of factory 17’s and if I can run the Amazon’s spindles with no spacers I would be very happy . So your not using any spacers for the rims at all?

No spacers, it looks good but would look better with a wider track.... decided to buy new rims for my pick up and moved my 17x9 centerlines over to the hoe... next week I’m getting 305-65-17 bfg all terrains
