Lift Question

Okay so, is the only reason the lift kits for an 01-06 suburban or yukon wont work for the denali because of the AWD? if the AWD were disconnected and no longer there could the lift kit be used? my denali has been converted to 2wd for now. From what ive read the reason the lift kits wont work is because of the front drive shaft on the AWD, and other things with the AWD

I think u would have to truly convert it to 2WD. That means no CV shafts just hubs. If that were the case, I don't see why it wouldnt work. Of course u alwas run into some alignment issue when lifting a vehicle (part alighnment not steering) so I'm sure u would run into minor issues ordering a vehicle specific lift for a different vehicle. Just my 2 cents.
