So I just bought a Whipple Kit (my 2nd one) and I'm going to keep it and install it.

6 PSI all the way. I don't feel I have supporting MODS as of right now to upgrade to a 8 PSI kit as well as porting.

Since the S/C Set-Up is going in. IT has to BREATHE!
I will be installing Ceramic Coated LT headers and re-doing my exhaust again!

I HAVE NO IDEA what kind of power I will be making but I'm looking foward to it!

Justin from BB will be handling my tune!

Need more fuel for S/C!
I need it tuned for 2.5" Exhuast with no rear 02's and NO CATS!
My Choice of muffler is a DYNOMAX ULTRA FLOW X muffler. I want a crossover PIPE but there is no room. Inside the Muffler a crossover is built in it. GOOD FOR ME! My tips will exit right before the rear tire. I have no Idea what kind of tips to use!

I AM KEEPING MY EGR SET-UP for MPG and DD activities since EGR re-uses fumes.

Questions, comments, concerns are all welcome!

ATTN TO ALL!

I WILL TRADE/BUY A BLOWER STYLE KIT! I've been looking for a yr now and no kit has popped up!

This is my first S/C'd V8 I'm looking fwd to it!

Next performance Upgrade will be 411 Swap with a E-Fans and possibley a 10 T-Stat!

ok first of all congrats on the whipple u will be very happy, i had a whilpple at about 12 psi on my old tahoe (rip) port and pollished on a gm performance LS1 streight pipped dumped right after the tranny, long tubes, and e fans, ahh i wish i still had her FUCKN THIEVES! but the engine was build upgreaded pistons 10 overed the works, it ran really well for the time that i had it. (till it was stolen from the shop that was tuning it) but congrats let us kno how it all works out for you!

Love my Whipple. Been running it now for about a year without any problems. I'm doing 8 psi and doing 400+ hp.

Dangit. Now I want to whip my hoe... :mexsmoke:
I'll see after my 93 Octane BB Tune and LT PaceSetter QuikTrip Headers along with the dual exhaust and CAI. If that doesn't do it for me I'll do the Dual E-Fans then maybe the 6psi whipple?

First Congrats on the whipple, let us know how it runs!

If your setup is tuned right you wont hardly have any lag.

Turbos are Free horsepower, They are powered from your exhaust gases.

Superchargers need the engine to spin them costing power.

They are both pretty cool.

I myself love turbos . Probably the less expensive route.

If sized right turbos really shine on top end also where a supercharger starts to run out of air.

My friend up in michigan has mid 90's chevy truck with a Vortec350 and 88mm turbo. Its sick.

Any way you go Boost RULES!!

Since my Uncle lost the shop...I will have to wait till summer for when it is warm enough to do the install when mother nature deems right.

I'm still piecing it together as I bought an incomplete kit.

I need Whipple Tronics Computer and Harness to fire the two extra injectors that are suppose to come with the kit. The Two Extra Injectors and the TB Elbow that houses them. I've located all the parts and working on getting to my door step. Summer couldnt come any sooner!

Just for now I'll be running 6 PSI since she has 109k on he clock right now.

1 7/8 headers with true duals all the way. magnaflow 5x11x28 muffler sounds sweet and its a internal x pipe also.

thats what im running. going true duals and 1 7/8 headers I lost about 1.5 psi boost but makes more power.

Not concerned about HP...she's not a drag racer, but TQ wins races.

I running LT's no cat's with Dynomax Muffler with an X Pipe built into it. 2.5" exhaust.

Better address your transmision, even 6#'s of boost you'll burn it up.

Put a good transgo shift kit her at the bare minimum.

You'll want a good torque converter also.

servos and cooler for sure also.

On the intercooled tahoe (settin the intercooler up wasnt that much fun lol) with teh whipple i did a little over 2 years ago i put in the yank sc3000 stall along with 3.73s and that thing moved well.

Tranny Has 109k on the clock...got a B&M Shift kit and BB Tune hooked up to a POSI rear.

Tranny cooler will be done thats it. No need to drop the tranny until it needs a rebuild.
No Gears b/c then my 4wd would be useless.

Hmm TQ converter...won't that hurt MPG? I know I own a modded hoe...but this is for a good romp here and there. Not every stop light and for shit sure NOT on the street.
