If you can't tell, from the video, the top three rows of LEDs are the turn signals,
and the bottom 4 rows of LEDs are the brake lights. All seven rows light up dim
as in the picture below as the running lights. The running lights configuration
was the reason I wanted this set.

I've hit a snag!

My cruse control doesn't work now... I thought that the 2000-2002 didn't have these problems with LED tail lights?

When I first installed the LED tails, something blew the cruse/brake light fuse and the brake lights didn't light up.
I replaced the fuse, and the brake lights now work. Only problem is the lack of cruise control.

EDIT: The LED tails DID come with resistors, and they are connected.

My taillight come with resistors in them and my cruise didn't work but as soon as put a resistor in line in the harness itself what do you know cruise works again

Did you put the resistors on the brake light wires or the turn signal wires?

I read on here where someone reported that the cruise control only worked with the headlights turned off. I tried using the cruse control with the headlights turned off, and I still don't have cruse control.

Here is a picture of the tail lights in the daylight:

We just upgraded my dad's '98 Sierra to LED tails and 3rd brake light:

It looks like the ones for his Sierra have a narrower viewing angle than the ones for my Yukon XL.
We hit one snag with the 3rd brake light though. The cargo lights won't light up.
They will power up with my 12v bench supply, and the OEM lights work connected to the truck.
I even cleaned the contacts. The brake lights work just fine.

Those new tails look great and nice touch with the video. Might as well just throw some LEDs in there and complete that package. Will be even brighter and not really that much $$ to have a full LED setup especially with tint.
:2cents:
I did finally put LED reverse lights in them. I got some JDM ASTAR 1200 Lumen LED bulbs. MAN, they are BRIGHT!
I could almost drive with these things.

AFAik it is plug and play. Just wanted you to know in case you planned to purchase some other bulbs for 'em. Some people put PnP hid's in them and to my knowledge the cutoff is fine, and this particular projector seems to work pretty darned well with them. Which isn't always the case with projectors designed for halogens.

Thanks! added that to my list.

I finally got the new headlights. I have some more photos posted over in my build thread.

Seems with the 5 degree weather (that's Fahrenheit, not Celsius), I forgot to take a picture after I got both headlights installed...

While i was looking i found these, if i understand correct these are made to be exact replicas of the spyders and they use Phillips lumiled, which idk if thats what spyder uses but i think they are pretty good quality. Think i may get these if i ever go to change my black smoke spyders to some reds........thinking out loud lol.

EDIT: Shit! Forgot to put the link lmao.
