Yeah they both use 921 bulbs AFAIK.

I've posted about them in a few posts...they are awesome. Sooooo bright.

I couldn't believe the difference. I was surprised when I first stumbled across them to actually find a legitimate name brand 921 led bulb.

The Sylvania 194 led bulbs on Amazon make great license plate bulbs too if you haven't already changed yours.

How does GM install incandescent bulbs around LED lighting? I guess they saved 10 cents.
Anyway, now when we open the locks, I don't get a trip back to the 1970s looking at those yellow reverse bulbs.

I always get a chuckle then I press unlock on the FOB and it turns the reverse lights on... and then I look at my neighbors house across the street and see it lit up.

Glad you liked them. BTW, they make awesome cargo light bulbs for anyone that has a truck with 921 cargo lights in it.

Now on to the fogs again. I posted my problem in the fog light thread.

Yes, they are very, very nice. I have them in my F-350 and my Silverado, but never put them in our old Tahoe. This set is a much more refined LED than the chip sets I used before.
In a Denali, it's just sac-religious to have Fred Flintstone bulbs light up. Almost embarrassing.

i am about to buy the sylvania license lights as well and wanted to ask how well they match the reverse lights in terms of color and brightness since they all come on at the same time when unlocking the car.

They are the exact same color. Both of those should be standard on all of the 15+s.

The Philips bulbs are amazing.

Looking at reviews on Amazon - I see a comment referencing a 2-pk of a similar Philps bulb

Looking at the Philips website - I cannot tell the difference in specs - other than you get 2 for basically the same price as one..... any ideas?

I've still be digging on the difference on these bulbs - over on a lighting forum I found reference that they are indeed the same bulb - just packaged 2 vs 1 (both at about the same price)

…and I just got the definitive answer this afternoon from Philips: The only difference between 12832X1 and 12841B2 is the packaging (2 instead of 1) and the price (2 for the old price of 1). Same bulb. And "7440" does not belong; it is the W16W (921) "T16"-size bulb.

Still not 100% sure, but think I'm going to place an order to AMZN for the 12841B2 and give it a try.....

I bought the 2 singles for myself then my dad saw them and asked me to get him a set so I ordered the double pack on Amazon and we have the same 2015 suburban and we compared and verified they are exactly the same brightness and color. Save your money and buy the double pack.
