LED light strip

Hey guys, installed my light strip from Ozimon (sp) actually it is 2 strips meeting in the middle and i wired them driectly to a unused plug on from oem that is not used on the new led lights. What do you think? On a side note, I blow the 15amp fuse this am on the left side, which has a longer section, replaced it with a 20 (i know that is not what is advised, but I wanted to see it the amperage is too high?)
Any thoughts??

Here you go, try this out and you can find it under the the waterproof strip! Their customer service is awesome, I had mine blow out 3 leds the second day and called them up and they are sending me a new one right away. Great. Very easy install just spliced them into an unused + - at the tails.

If you are blowing fuses then yes the amperage is too high or you have a short circuit. What is the amperage rating of the LED tails with the LED strip added? I would not increase the fuse size because the amperage may be greater than the rating of the wires supplying power. I have seen a few cases of these wires overheating, melting the casing and causing a fire.

replaced the fuse and all is good, double checked the connections and so far so good! Sure makes the rear of a blacked out truck more visable at night!

By the way, what can you say about this LED light strips I found? I'm thinking of installing it on mine...

The ones on the front look like something from Pep Boys, Autozone, etc. So that's a big NO vote from me.

As for those ones on the front I, too, would have to put in a vote of NO. Just looks outta place IMO.
