Hi all,

I'm wondering if my new (to me anyway) truck has this feature. With the keys in your pocket, you could touch the door handle and it would unlock the door.
Do you know if this model truck had this feature? My '13 Accord has it. Seems silly a truck with this many features would skimp on it.

If it does, what is the official name for it?

Follow up question: How do I fix it?

Your door handle will have a thumb button if you have this feature. You can unlock drivers or all doors with the fob in your pocket.

I have those buttons on all the doors. The passenger side doesn't do anything, but both of the drivers side work.

I mean something like what is described at 26 seconds in on this video:

On my Accord you can feel the inside of the door handle is made of a different material. My Yukon also feels like it has that material there.
Do you know if the Yukon has the keyless unlock, or is it only the push button to unlock?

If it has the button in the door handle and it’s locked, the only way to unlock is with the fob, pushing the button, or unlocking from the inside. Your model does not have the feature to unlock by proximity and ONLY pulling the handle.

Gotcha. Thank you for clarifying.

When I press the door handle button on either of the drivers side doors, all the doors unlock.
When I press the door handle button on either of the passenger side doors, nothing happens.

Any ideas for the passenger side?

Maybe wiring issues inside the door panel. YouTube has videos of how to remove the door panels. It’s easy, I did mine when I installed Esky mirrors.

Yeah that's what I was thinking.

Truck has other issues that'll take precedence over the door locks. Just add it to the list lol
