2023 Yukon Denali Ultimate w/ 16K miles. Picked up Aug last year. In the shop waiting for a new engine (6.2L) since May 9th. Seems like there are lots of issues with the 6.2. Would the 3.0 have been a better option? Right now I could start the Lemon Law process and get it out it. Do love the truck though.....quality of the engine concerns me.

IMHO.. The Duramax would have been a better option, with the miles you put on especially.
Lemon law? Would possibly get you more money to use to buy another truck.
Trade? It is going to get you diminished value, and the market seems to be falling on its face currently.

I have said it in another thread, and will say it again. There is no gasoline fed engine from GM or Ford I would own, except for maybe the GM 2.7 turbo in the Silverado/Sierra (dont know anything about them), and the Ford Coyote 5.0.

The lemon deal will basically get your $'s back less a per mile cost; probably your most cost effective option where the vehicle leaves your possession.
In parallel you can also pursue a trade option; that would get you numbers to compare.
The engine issues with the gasser's existed when you bought the truck and they exist today. Customers aren't concerned enough to stifle demand, I don't believe you will be impacted by a dollars loss, rather it's going to impact your happiness now that you've experienced a failure.
Comparatively;
My ecoDiesel has logged 2 days less then the required number for lemon law, my Duramax 3.0 spent a few weeks in the shop but not enough to hit the limit; none of them are immune to issues.
We also have 3 6.2's 2022 and newer, none of them have had any issues of any kind, one has 80k miles on it. In my garage, the gasser's are more reliable then the diesel's
