Picked up a 2000 Tahoe Limited today. Has 144K on it, runs and drives great. Cold AC, overall good shape. Only plans I have for it are an electric fan conversion and to have the front windows re-tinted. And I need to get a key fob for it, as it didn't come with any. Maybe a stereo upgrade too. We were looking for a larger car, and I stumbled upon this. So far, I really dig it.

That's a cool purchase, congrats. With only 144K on the clock, you could be enjoying this ride for a long time.

It is in very good shape. Couple little scratches here and there but overall very clean.

I sold my 2005 Cadillac STS so we could purchase a larger vehicle. Originally our goal was to stay below what I sold the STS for, which was $10,600. But around here that doesn't get you as much as you may think. We wanted to find an 04 or newer, but most trucks in that time frame had 150K+ miles for $10k. I couldn't justify spending that much on a truck with that many miles.

I picked up the limited for $3400. I feel I got a pretty good deal for as clean as it is. And worst case, if I need to swap out the engine or trans should still be ahead of the game.

Thanks for the welcome guys. I'm sure i'll be hanging out around here more as I slowly change things on the truck.

Nice! The Limiteds are one of my faves! I've been tossing around picking up on myself.

yep, a good thing. It will be a great road trip car. We got 19mpg round trip, with some mountain climbs in there. So can't complain about that either :)

Welcome aboard, nice looking Hoe you have there. I got mine for the same reasons Jan 2000 when I got her new. After 224K, rebuilt trans, rear end rebuilt twice we still rolling with original paint.
