just ordered some kicker KS690s

for the rear. they're gonna replace some old alpine 6x9s that i bought almost 20 years ago. i'm gonna have them in 6x9 speaker boxes that i'm going to have sitting on the fender wells. i just have to figure out how to keep them from sliding off to the side or back.

Great choice. I have the KS series in my doors and rear roof. I couldn't be happier, you can't beat Kicker for clarity and they get loud as hell. Where did you buy them from?

I got them at buy.com for $76 shipped. Crutchfield has em for $106 after taxes so I saved $30. These are supposed to have some decent lows, we'll see. I'm kind of disappointed in my 6.5" Infinitys. They seem to be all highs and mids.
