Unfortunately, I think this happens more often than not :whymewhyme: Almost like he has TOO much money and it clouds his judgement....

You know there is a guy on here w/ a escalade front, and a guy w/ a yukon w/ that HD front bumper and grille. Cant remeber thier names, but i have them saved somewhere. But that GMC HD w/ hd hood would be sweet... THink im going to search for that.

Found the Yukon esclade thread.. Indianmark

The biggest thing for me when doing a clip conversion is making sure the wheel wells all match and that everything flows. Too often you see some dude just throw on a front clip and some paint and it looks completely different than the rest of the truck. You've just wasted your time right there and might as well strip off all that paint and fix the issues you just tried to paint over.

So i'm kind of upset today. I went to my storage unit today and looked over my "Denali" and its really just a Yukon XL 2500. so now finding out that it ha leaf springs not coil has me kind of stuck on who sell drop kits or if i can even drop it.

yeah, I didn't know they were on leaf springs either. I think they were all the same. :hmm: very interesting info there! I like learning stuff. Like you said, at least you only paid $500. You could still put the Denali front on it and just do a 2500 Denali "clone" :D

I'm liking the HD front end idea, there is just none to be had from junk yards around here. I don't want to be out 2000$ buying on online

here is some pictures of the front I just got from the guy, I guess its not the HD but it will do. I don't want it to look like a suburban but O well. whats the difference in the HD besides hood grill and bumper? I bet i could just buy those parts down the road. The price is good so I'm still going this route :Handshake:

hood, grille, and bumper (and for that matter, its only the top portion of the bumper, which can be purchased seperately)
