You mean the exhaust kit, the header back kit. O yess, I am anxiously waiting for it.
I have their 2nd batch 1 3.4" headers and will be swapping them for the 2nd batch 1 7/8" headers with collector spikes.

Why the 2nd batch if you don't mind me asking?

1st batch tends to have fitment issues. Second batch any and all problems get fixed.
Might wait for 2nd batch header back exhaust as well. due to questionable fitment with 4L80's and the big 6 speeds.
But don't think I can wait that long, I hate my current exhaust.

Are you rocking a nbs or nnbs or obs?
Never seen an lq4 with a 6l80

im nbs. but remember these kits are for 99-13, so they will see all sorts of combo's
there are alot of OEM trucks running around with 5.3's and 6L80's.
GM finnaly got smart and dropped the pos 60 series trans from its truck and SUV line.

I just searched for a 6.0 running a 6l80/90 and didn't see any on pt

Your correct.
The 5.3 and 6.2 get the 6 speeds.
The 6.0 still gets the 4l80.

Definitely give heavy consideration into what it may cost to outfit your situation with an 80e trans at the least... Just my 2 cents... I had the trans out of my 04 bi-monthly... Granted I was blown with cam and heads, but still, even minor upgrades, or a healthy cam on a 6.0 LQ4/LQ9, will destroy the 60/65/70 trans with ease... I threw every single absolute super hi po part and trick at my 65e and it still spit parts back at me...

Put this on any DD with a high end single or duel high flow cats and you have a winner for under 700$

If its properly prepped, yes some high temp VHT, will work.
