Hey all

Got a 99 Yukon

The transfer case controls on my dash are acting up a bit.

When anything is engaged (2wd, auto, 4h or 4l) they lights do not illuminate.

The t-case will shift into 4wd, and it all seems to work fine. The lights will illuminate while depressed, but do not stay lit while engaged regardless of the setting.

Any thoughts?
I dont want to nitpick since the system seems to be working, but not sure why the lights dont stay on.

This is my first time with one of these... my 02 Tahoe stays lit and the indicator on my 94 Silverado stays lit though its a floor shift...

So what do you think?

On my 98, I could press the surrounding plastic and get the indicator lights to come on. Taking it apart, some of the solder was cracked. I remelted them and it works fine now.

But sometimes a new part is just less hassle.
