I saw this in the sidewall of the right front tire...Goodyear LS-2, on my 2016 Yukon. Tire has about 20K miles....all 4: are wearing well...but this is the oly tire that looks like this.

Should I take it in or am I being paranoid?

Yeah, busted belt. Probably pinched a curb or just wearing out in the Florida heat. 4 years is about it unless you keep it in a garage, regardless of the miles down here.

Def take it in. It's dangerous to drive on, especially on the front end.

OK...Good Call. Took it in to the Tire Store where I bought the Tires 18 months and 22K miles ago. Here is what it looked like inside. "Widow Maker" !! They gave me 80% credit on the Road Hazard Warranty.

Glad you noticed it before anything bad happened.

Sshhh, don't tell anyone. But in my days of invincibility, I once went drag racing with a bubble like that on one of my rear tires. Made it through the night with big smokey burnouts and pass after pass down the track just to see what would happen. Nothing. BUT, was it wise? Absolutely not. The car weighed about 3,500 pounds with a dumb kid driving it and not 6,000 pounds with my precious wife and children on board.

I don't see any exterior marks to cause the separation. I am disappointed the tire dealer didn't call that a manufacturer's defect & replace it free. ( You just pay the road hazard $ for the new tire)
