Hey everyone, just got a '01 Yukon XL from my buddy David who is actually a member on this forum and sent me here. I'm 30, happily married to a jewel of a wife, and we currently have 5 kids (3 of our own and fostering twins). We needed a bigger kid hauler! We absolutely love the truck, and I also dig what I see here too.
Online forums are important to me since I turn wrenches and do as much of my own work as possible which includes pretty much everything except specialized things like cracking into transmissions, so I'm thankful to join in here. I also drive a '99 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I get my desire to wrench from my dad, with whom I built my 1st car (full body-off resto of a '68 Volkswagen Beetle). I've lifted vehicles, pulled heads for new head gaskets, pulled transmissions, done clutch jobs, rebuilt axles, all kinds of fun things like that. Hopefully once I learn my way around this truck, I'll have something to contribute here as well.
