Sometimes I turn the key, and nothing happens. Like the battery is dead, but it's not. I have to remove the key, and put it back in, and it starts up perfect. I'm thinking bad key, but the dealer says I should see a DIC error message. The dealer is willing to put in a starter; he says the police trucks seem to have a similar problem with starters.

Anyone have this happen?? Intermittent no start ...

This happened to me. At first it was here and there, about once a week. then it was about 2-3 times a week. replaced the starter and no more issues

Could be you ignition switch. Very easy to switch out. Just make sure you position the new switch same as the old one.

I switched to my 2nd key, and it hasn't happened since. Now I'm thinking it's the 1st key, and not the starter.

It happened to me, and the dealer replaced the starter and that fixed the issue.
