Has anyone installed seat heaters in there older vehicles? I have a 1997 chevy. I have ripped up leather seats. I wanna get some kind of heater pads to go on top of the ripped up leather but under the custom made seat covers I got. Any tips or recommendations?

I put some under the stock fabric on my burb, something like this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/404740310668. Spray adhesive holds them in place and also used to put the fabric back in place. They work fine.

If you’re putting them under leather you may need hog rings to reattach the upholstery. If putting them on top of the leather and under a seat cover you’ll want to secure the heater pads so they dont bunch up and move around under the seat covers

There are plenty of pads that just sit on top of the seat and plug into the lighter too

hopefully bacongurl10 has discovered the dorman seat covers... my issues is with repairing the wires I accidently cut when removing my seat covers to install new covers.... the 4 wire that attached to heater were cut and I need to identify
were they attach to the 4 wires coming out of the seat heater. I cant find a picture or schematic of heater wiring. the seat shop only support paying customers.... any ideas on getting this info would be great
