So watched the rough install video. This basically keeps the button in the off position after ignition starts. Correct?

FYI for anyone considering it will hold your settings for this entire bank of switches. The power outlet on the back of the center console that the AppleTV is plugged into for the RSE now stays on as well.

Correct, it still goes off every time the vehicle is shut off. But comes back on once the vehicle is started.
