Inherited a tahoe

Hello all,

Just found this site, and it is excellent. A lot of knowledge and good help going on. I will rely on everybody's knowledge for years to come hopefully.

It is a 2000 Tahoe limited with 256000 miles on it. Very dirty, and has lots of paint problems even though the owner, my dad has owned a body shop for 25 years.

One question to start, should I follow the 2000+ thread or the 1999 thread?

should be in the 2000-2006 thread, GMT800, or NBS. unless its some strange year where its the original body style.

Since it's the Limited, it's on the GMT400 platform, so it's 1999 and before.

Don't let the sticker fool you, I live in Virginia. The roof is almost through to the substrate.

A good friend of mine lives near Powhite Parkway and Chippenham Parkway in Richmond Virginia..A lot of really nice people there.
