Hi, everyone! Thinking about a new head unit with navigation, Bluetooth, USB and/or card for our 07 SLE Yukon. What units have you got experience with? Cost, please. What about the OEM unit from a newer vehicle...is this worth considering, or does the aftermarket have it wrapped up?

Thanks, Rolf

I have had great luck with Kenwood head units on multiple cars/trucks, including my 2007 Yukon XL Denali. There are several models to choose from, at various price points. You should also get the wiring harness conversion connector, which will directly match up to your existing wiring plug(s) and connect into the Kenwood head unit, eliminating the need to cut and splice wires.

You can go to the Crutchfield website to review them and their specs, and other brands as well, and see their associated prices.

Good luck on your project!

Honestly, unless you want oem look, aftermarket is the way to go. Oem, even 12-14 hdd units can’t even compare to the cheap Chinese stuff thats out there.

Oem 12-14 hdd nav unit, with harness, bose amp(if you dont have bose already) etc..about $800...

For that money you can get a nice aftermarket name brand unit with everything you want
