First post on this huge forum, which has been a great resource for me when I was looking for a truck.
It's an 2003 LT, imported from the US to Iceland in 2004 with only 6.810 miles. Now it has 69.000 miles and I'm the 4th owner.
Next to my Dads 08 Escalade and my moms 07 MDX. The Tahoe is the prettiest!
There's a short list of things needed to be done. Plan on keeping it looking stock but will probably try to increase fuel mileage, not the most economical car when the gallon cost more than $8. But it totally worth it.
1. Basic maintenance. Ordered all the filters online and that should be done by the end of next week.
2. Upper and lower control arms, tie rods, stabiliser links and bushings and intermediate steering shaft will also arrive next week but have to convince the guys at work to help me with that, I work at a car dealership (non GM).
3. Already replaced the spark plugs with ACDelco #41-110. That was a PITA to replace!!!
4. Fix the A/C, sometime it works but never when you need it the most. Done some troubleshooting and whole system has been tested and recharged but didn't fix the problem. Low pressure sensor gets voltage and compressor clicks when jumped in the fuse box. Helpful pointers are more than welcome
