Just had two ideas!

Old school Drag racing line locks!
heres the setup.
two sets of line locks, one for front brakes and one for rears.
a normally "Closed" relay, would need to use two or more relays for each line lock for redundancy to keep from the brakes locking up due to a relay failure.

Once installed when you turn your key to run position the relay opens and drops the "Hold" signal to the line locks, thus unlocking the brake system and allowing the vehical to move.

When you go to exit the vehical. you would press and hold your brakes then turn vehical off. this will "Lock" the brakes via the line locks.
Keeping vehical from moving.
Only way to defeat this would be disconnect battery, But ofcourse we would have this system on its own backup battery.

second idea.
We now have WIFI hotspots that connect to 3g network.
Use a WIFI Pc cam hidden in vehical, that can see the drivers seat.
When alarm is activated, the Hotspot begins transmitting video to your home PC which records and stores the data.
this would allow you to give the face of anyone who breaks into the vehical to police.
Only way to defeat this system would be a WIFI and cell jammer. Very expensive and most thieves probly dont know they exist.

Just another example of how much GM doesnt care about its customers. Whats more basic for a car than a steering wheel lock. My first car had one and it was an 86 model. Along with an alarm with no window sensors its like they want your car to get stolen.
