Newbie here. Trying to figure out how to search GMC new dealer inventory to determine whether a vehicle has the second row bench or not - Denali XL model specifically (wife wants a second row bench). I believe very few are produced (without being ordered), but this is just a guess from looking around and my experience when we purchased our last one (which was a while back and before the captain's chairs became even more popular). Tried calling and the call center and they report they can only see what the public can see (amazing to me that they are not more sophisticated). I am potentially willing to go anywhere to purchase. Does anyone have any suggestion(s) for me?

Go on the GMC website and build out your exact vehicle (with the bench).
When you get to the Summary tab, there will be a button that says "View Inventory". It will show you all vehicles build to your specs or close to it. Then just click through them and see which ones fit your needs.
The list can be sorted by match (how closely it matches your build, location, price, etc. This is probably going to be the easiest way without having to talk to a dealership

I dont believe you can get a denali anymore with the 2nd row bench. The way they package things anymore is getting pretty dumb.

That's complete BS, my sales rep was able to find me exactly what I wanted down to the weather mats...
I don't see it in the build, in other years it was optional if you didn't get ultimate Denali.
Yeah dumb they keep charging more and giving less options you can choose like that.
I'm torn between which I like better captains chairs or bench.
here's a few.
make a friend with a local sales guy - granted that may not be ideal but they'd be able to locate one pretty easy as the 2nd row bench is a selectable option in the online builder (just not an option on the "public" online locate inventory site)
I'd try to "chat" or call GM again...granted you already tried this, but maybe try again. I'd explain you're looking for one with an option that isn't on the online filter for searching inventory....sure this may be a wasted 10 mins, but try it a couple times. may be surprised at the quality of info you get from different people on their chat. sometimes it's just about using the right keywords with them...and catch them on a good day
and talking about keywords...the results below were found using autotrader/cars.com by using the keyword search "60/40" (from the line item on the option SEATS, 2ND ROW 60/40 SPLIT INC.BENCH, POWER RELEASE). "bench" and "second" weren't very helpful.
Results also weren't very exact on autotrader but it did filter the number down. cars.com didn't filter the number down very much, but with the results being filter by "best match" turned out decent results.

good luck, and pro tip even if it says online 60/40 ask for or look for actual photos because these idiots couldn't tell there @ss from a hole in the ground.

yep - half of the ones on autotrader that had 60/40 in the description were second row buckets....surprised that there are still quite a few new 2024s still available. probably dealers trying to sell them over msrp
another pro tip, if you are calling around or texting for info, use a phone that is a alternate number or a throw away or something because once you show even a hint of interest these guys will bug you forever......
I have a phone in my office that is a dedicated number for one purpose only and I use that because I can ignore it 99.99% of the time.
same if you are getting quote's something or apply for a loan or refinance, etc, etc. because they all share your info so some douche from kalimazoo may call you months later just to bug you.

I appreciate everyone's thoughts. I can build the vehicle with the second row bench (and have tried this before posting). The website gave me one 'match'... but it wasn't a match. No second row bench and I have otherwise never seen a window sticker/car available that has one (and I have looked). Hard to believe there would not even be one out there... but I can't find one. Anyone think they can find one?
all i can tell you is:
According to GMC's official information, the 2024 GMC Yukon Denali has a seating capacity of up to 8 people, which is achieved with a second-row bench seat. This option is available on the Denali trim, but not the Denali Ultimate, which is configured to seat up to 7 people with second-row captain's chairs.
I assume it may be the same for 2025

scroll up to post #8....every one of those links is a 2025 Yukon XL Denali with a second row bench. Seven different yukons..understood it looks like spam links or whatever, but the links are direct to the dealership or cars.com/autotrader.

Enough already. I ordered my Denali with a second row bench. It arrived with a second row bench. You want photo for proof? Now back to your regular programing.
I needed a 2nd row bench, ended up with a 22' AT4. When I was looking at dealers all across the country I literally had to look at the online pictures to confirm for 2nd row bench because you can't trust the specs the dealers put online.
I just thought I would chime in that I much prefer a bench in the second row as opposed to bucket seats. In order to get that with the other things I wanted, I had to have the vehicle built for me.
