How to reset the Ecu without scanner

Hi

I have 2016 Tahoe LS z71,and would like to know how reset the Ecu? I don't have any scanner , I did try to disconnect the battery ,but after that I get very Rough idle and low fuel economy

So if can any one help me how to reset the ECU step by step

Did you ever figure it out? My 2015 has a rough idle code and occasionally the check engine light will flash followed by hard acceleration from a stop and hard downshift to 2nd gear when decelerating (I know your not supposed to drive it when it flashes)
