How hard is it to change discs and rotors on 07 ltz

got the dreaded head shake while braking at 70mph. was hoping to save a little money and change them myself. last time i did something like this was college in 1989 on a 10 year old cutlass. anything much different from then? if too much PITA then i will take it in to get them changed

not bad at all take off rim remove caliper 2 bolts on back side and then 2 more bolts that hold the caliper bracket on. taking ur time 30-35 mins a side

nope....you will need a clamp and use the old pads the push the pistons back though. Same as with any car.

Just got done doing mine an hour ago. It took me exactly 90 mins to do it. Easy to do, hardest thing for me was the one rotor was rusted on, had to bang it pretty good to get it to break loose. Easy install. Good luck.

thanks again, now does anyone know where to get rotors and pads for the front for around 200.00 local pep boys wants $170. ceramic rotors and $55. for ceramic pads. anyone know of a better deal?

if you re rollin big wheels just upgrade to ebc rotors/ pads i love mine make a difference stopping

I got my Centric rotors with Akebono ceramic pads from Rockauto.com for $450 w/ APO shipping all around. Check them out.
