how do you take off the door handle?

I have a 2004 Yukon

How do you take off the outside door handle? I am replacing the stock painted one for a chrome one.

pull interior panel off, inside the door, there is like 3 10mm nuts on the back side, and two slider bars for automatic door locks...simple.

yep, pull stock off, and new ones stick right in. Had to disassemble mine when I painted the front end..
