"Hold on while we reinstall your app" Message?

Anyone run into this message before? Just started a few days ago; very small and pops up every 10 seconds and then disappears only to pop up again 10 seconds later. Super annoying and I haven't made any changes to infotainment system for over a year....

I've seen this too and it doesn't stay up long enough to read it. At least I know now what it says. It could be updating an app but I only really use 2 of them so shouldn't be doing this constantly....

Delete the Amazon Alexa app on your infotainment screen and it should go away. This happened to me last week and it worked.

What if I like Alexa and want to use it? Should I delete it and then reinstall it and then it doesn’t do it anymore or having this app installed is the culprit.

I don't use the app so I didn't try to reinstall it. I would assume having the app is the culprit, but you can always try to reinstall it and see.

The message did go away after deleting the Alexa app. I will reinstall to see if it returns...

I do use it occasionally for music, but can do without to avoid a silly little message popping up every 10 seconds.

I reinstalled Alexa and completed the registration again. Message did not return after using it twice..
