That'd be me.

But mine is a 4-door with a rollpan. And no, my hitch isn't exactly hidden, but tucked underneath about 4" back from the rollpan. I always bashed my shins on the ball when I had it in the receiver, so I welded a receiver mount to a piece of 3"x8" rectangular steel "tubing" 1/4" thick, then bolted and welded it to my frame rails. The drop mount sticks out about 6" from the receiver, but is just about even with the edge of the rollpan.

Unfortunately, I've backed into a sloped driveway, and bent the frame a bit (on more than one occasion)... before I tow anything again, I plan on boxing in the frame rails with some 1/4" plate, stiffen the whole frame.

There was a guy at FullSizeChevy with a white truck that made one ... it was for sure a 2 door.
