Help With Power Window/Door Lock LED Conversion

I have converted my entire Tahoe inside and out to LEDs. Man what a difference, anyone considering doing it just do it. You will not regret it at all. Makes a world of difference.

I most recently converted my steering wheel controls, ac control, light control, and gauges to Green LEDS. I also upgraded my gauges to white and went with every 20 mph rather than 10 mph. Way more clean look IMO. I will be doing a write up with photos of this install in case anyone is interested in that also.

It is driving me absolutely crazy that the only factory stock lights left in my Tahoe are the power window/door lock control switches. on all 4 doors. Has anyone done an LED conversion on these? I tried talking to the company that I ordered the rest of the green LEDs from, and they say they make a kit but wont sell it or ship it. They will only install it if you send them all of the power window/lock switches. I am totally against this as I don't like anyone working on my Tahoe if I can avoid it (too many bad experiences and horror stories form other). I have installed all the rest myself, and am comfortable soldering and doing the electrical work.

These are the switches I want to convert to green LEDs to match the rest of my gauges and dash lighting. I will do the other 3 doors as well but you get the idea from this one picture what im talking about.

I did it on my old Silverado. Take the door panel out and separate the switch panel from the door panel. The switch panel has a bunch of clips around it that you take apart and you will be able to get to the circuit board. They are already surface mount LEDs, and there is a rubber film that sits over the whole board. You either use surface mount LEDs again or regular LEDs. I used regular ones, and cut the rubber above the LED so that it could stick up and so that the color didn't mess with the LED I was installing. It was green already though, so it shouldn't matter for your application.

Nice I figured it was pretty straight forward like the rest of them were. More so just did not want to rip it apart and find out what it was. Would rather find out first then take it apart. This is currently my daily driver so what I rip apart over the weekend has to be put back together by Monday morning.

Have any pics form the install? Would love to see a few shots before ripping into it.

My biggest fear at this point is color matching the LEDs. Going to try and contact the company that I purchased the rest form and see if they will maybe send them if I get someone else. Otherwise I guess green will be green lol closer match than what I have now at least.
