Help with Hood Hinge Cover Part#

Hi,

I have a 2010 Chevy Tahoe Z71 4x4. The hood hinge cover had become brittle in TX sun and I touched it to see how bad, and it just... crumbled. It looks even worse now with a gaping hole. Tried to find the part on my own and no luck.

Can someone with more knowledge advise on what the part number is and perhaps how to replace it.

Try looking here for a match to what you are looking for. Looks like what GM calls a cowl end cap. Maybe? You can then take the GM number and look for it at ebay, rock auto and amazon prime

Thank you!! that worked! There are apparently 2 pieces a Cowl that goes on the cabin air intake and this 'end cap' which has the "hole" in it for the hood hinge.

For anyone looking for this in the future parts --
