Guys, I'm on a tight budget (2 kids under the age of 4 will do that) but I want to get 4" of lift on my 96 Yukon one way or another. I know that a 4" suspension lift would be the best way to go (I have a 4" Rough Country lift on my 1978 Scout and am pleased with it). What would you suggest? I guess the cheapest way to go is a 2" rear block and t-bar crank plus a 2" body lift.
I am not a big fan of huge body lifts, but things done in moderation usually end up ok. I also don't want my bumpers to hang low. Are there kits out there that have modified bumper brackets for the front and the rear? what are gap guards and do they help hide the "body lift bumper gap?"
Thanks in advance for any advice. I have decided that I am going to run some BFG 295/75/16s on some 16x8 ProComp 1069's when my current tires finally give it up, and I want to be prepared.
