Help Me Choose My Wheel Color

My Wheels have been sitting in the garage for several months after getting some slight curb rash on 2 of the wheels. They are Gloss Black KMC Slides. I've been looking around for a new set of wheels, but think I am going to stick with these, since I haven't really seen anyone locally with them, only on the forum. Since the Slides are just painted black, i am going to have the power coated, and am having a hard time deciding between (1) Gloss Black, (2) Satin Black or (3) Gunmetal as the color. I'm leaning towards the gunmetal just because it think it will look different, and will actual look good with the style of the wheel.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Hopefully i'll have the tires dismounted and the wheels dropped off to the powder coaters by next weekend.

My Tahoe is White with no, chrome, black room and black grille. The black wheel theme definitely works, but I like the look of gunmetal on white as well.

thanks, i ordered some plastidip gunmetal and their glossifier to see if it will give me a better idea of what gunmetal will look like. I'm not sure how close the plastidip gunmetal will be to the ones in the pics, but it's worth a shot to see before i actually have them powdercoated.

I love my gloss black wheels, so that gets my vote. Besides, it goes better with the grille.

I'd say gunmetal but what about your grille and vents by the hood? Will those be gunmetal too or are you leaving them black?? I think those need to match :/

I agree. My only worry with going gunmetal is that it won't go with the black on the grille. I''ve been going back and forth for months now, and my wheels have just been sitting collecting dust because I can't make up my mind! I get a good hookup on powdercoated, so having to add the grille won't be to big a deal, i just want to be 100% sure before I do it.

Genmetal will make them look different and stand out. Do it...it will look really good. Wow that Porsche is hot.

I think the gunmetal really would look sick, but don't do it half-ass! Color match the grille and vents gunmetal too and it would look pure !

I also say go with the gun metal. It will look sick with the white I have been trying to decide for months what to put on my black truck, I forgot all about gun metal ! I am going to steal that idea, thanks!

I'm having the powder coated shoot a couple samples for me to do an actual comparison.
I really like the look of the the gunmetal, but am starting to really like the look of the satin black. I think I have ruled out gloss black.

This is the satin black finish i like. It almost has a dark grey look to it, but i'll wait to see it in person.
