I have a question ...

I'm researching some Denalis and one has listed the front seats as 'heated' and 'ventilated' ... he doesn't have a pic of the door controls for me to see, but are 'ventilated' what GM calls cooled seats or is that a different more expensive option?

Oh and if anyone also knows ... are the power folding rear captains seats standard on these trucks?

You are correct. The "ventilated" seats refers to the cooling function.

I am not sure what models the power fold seats are standard on, if they actually are, but seeing as how the Denali is an upper model, I would assume it would have them.

they can power fold by themselves or you can do it manually as well. We always do it manually, just a force of habit I guess. Pretty sure they are standard with all second row bucket seats.... ours are also heated.

Ventilated is in fact cooled.

They are between the second and third row on the pillar. Like if you open the 2nd row doors, its on the pillar portion between the door and the rear glass.

The heated seat button is on the back of the center console. :D in case u wanted to know...

I see thanks.

So i don't have the option to powerfold them from the front whilst an unwitting out of town visitor was sitting on them?

I am not sure about the later models, but the earlier ones had buttons up front near the sun roof buttons.

:) It's funny you mention this. Someone, either on this forum or another, asked awhile back about disabling the buttons up front as they accidentally sent their kid in the back seat flying forward before strapping them in. Ooops! The child was alright, but apparently, he/she was under the weight limit. :happy175:
