Help! AVH p4200dvd no rear audio output Monitors

I installed rear headrest monitors and get video to them but I do not get any audio to them for the headphones. I tested the monitors with another dvd player and they work. So I am not sure if there is something I got to do in the menu screen or a switch or something. The manual does not say much about it. The rear audio output is a 3.5mm mini jack and I have tried a stereo and a mono jack but no luck. Has anyone had trouble with this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Make sure you're plugged into the bottom of the two mini jacks, the top is for the wired remote. Then you can try and connect to another set of speakers or headphones to see if you're getting any audio out from the HU. Are you using a Y-cable?

Also, I know on the 3200 there are some menu function that you have to get to from the 'initial menu' which is only available when all sources are off and then you go to the menu screen. That's where things like A/V input source are located, so it wouldn't surprise mms if there were a setting there for it. Obviously try that first.
