Heater Control went black on '92

I stopprd at the store and it was working when I parked. When I came out and started the Blazer it was black and not working. This was after midnight, so I didnt check for a fuse or anything, yet.

I checked all the fuses and all are good. Then I went for a ride and the ac/heater control was working. Afew hours later it was black angain. I gotta pull it out and check the plug. The preveous own said it was a recent ebay replacement. Rebuilt? I don't know.

Thermal issues with the electronic component perhaps? Unless you can find the culprit you may have to replace it again.
