Pop mirror off and make sure the wires are still connected and the connection is clean. And problem solve from there.

how do you pop off the mirror? do you mean the glass itself?

The mirror clips on. Be careful so u don't crack the glass. Worst case it already doesn't defrost and if u break it trying to take it off just order a new one. eBay like $20
