Heat!!!!!!!!!!!!HELP!

Heyy guys, been awhile since ive been on cause there havent been any problems...until now! but dont worry, I like ya guys so it's good 2 talk 2 ppl about my truck problems...thought I dnt want problems

Anywayyyy...I got heat! but, No matter what stage it is on, whether, feet, face, defroster, face & feet...it comes out of all the vents...Obviously that knob has no use whatsoever. Occasionally I turn the truck on and no air will come out of the vents until I slap the plastic box underneath the passenger feet area underneath the dash...Butterfly valve stuck?

sounds like a possible mode door problem (door itself) or the actuator. The only way to tell is to look behind the glove box while someone operates the selector knob and look to see if the actuator is working.kinda hard to see sometimes.(pocket extendable mirror is helpful)
I've also seen the select knob strip out and it's not really turning to the mode you want.

is there any heat comin out or is it just blowin cold air reason im askin i put a new radio it my hoe an shorted out the ac switch it only blew cold air but with it off i could drive and heat would come threw the vents on the floor went to junkyard got one for15$ along with other stuff installed ever thing works again

the plastic box under your dash is your blower motor. my blower motor went last winter and i got tired of punching it to make it work. pretty easy to replace.
