Headers on my Hoe!!

Hey all!!

Been a while since i got on here!! Not much going on. I did install shorty pacesetter headers and removed my cats. And installed an Autopage alarm/remote start.

^^ i noticed this too, Sounds like a weak battery, but the truck looks Amaizng still

nope not a weak battery at all. I have dual optimas. My starter is going out. I should have changed it with the headers off, but I am lazy, and I dont drive this truck much.

And why do I need better cooling? I am running a flexalite dual eFan setup.. cools just fine.

dual optimas? no wonder it is crappy flexalites or not you are not likely to get much air flowing thru the radiator with that grill so closed up. the fans have to run more to get rid of the heat. i have the 280 kit and mine only really run when the a/c is on. with a stock grill. perhaps there is a different grill you may like that will help flow air better.

ok well you obviously know my truck better than I do. What should I get sir? since these fans and this grille have been on this truck for going on 4 yrs. Never once overheated. And they rarely turn on unless sitting in rush hour traffic for more than 30 minutes on a 90 degree day.

anything you like. if you are happy with it now then keep at it. just suggested room for improvement. courious how hot you let it get before they do trigger on tho.

My grille is like that and i run just the regular clutch fan lol. Never gets close to overheating. Wanna get efans tho

Not sure exactly, all they have for an adjustment is a little turn knob. But it is hot as balls here lately and since my AC is all new and ice cold I run it ALL THE TIME!!! so the fans always run.. and when I shut the truck off they run for another 30 sec or so. i have a 180 deg thermostat too.
