hd hood- question

I have been looking, its not really a must have, but figured if i found one great.
Question i have is, to get it back, will the hood fit inside ?

You'd probably have to fold down your back seats, and store it at an angle, but it *should* fit, I'm fairly sure.

I fit the hood and whole bumper assembly in my 04 when I bought mine. Fold down the middle seats, throw down a blanket and lay them in there. Can't remember if the hood fit flat or not but I remember it was no issue getting it. Did the same thing before the HD hood when I bought the cowl hood for it.

in addition to the other answers ( thank you for that ) i can definitively say.... Yes.
I scored one without even looking. In the sunlight i may be able to confirm its my paint color too?
Im colorblind as a mofo. and night doesnt help

I did lay it flat in a K2xx Suburban when I found it at the junkyard for future reference now that he has it loaded up.

Thanks man. In daylight, i still am really not sure. The color is close, close enough that i cant tell. If anything, it may be just a shade darker. I think im going to put it on. Then i think it has one tiny hail dent. then i can worry about painting it later in the spring.

It definitely won't be the right paint code. Looks like you have an 04 and the silver in 04 wasn't offered in 01-02. Nice score on the hood though. I have been keeping an eye out for one.

weather has once again turned to shit. So i havent even washed it yet. But my question for anyone who has swapped, or anyone who has put on a hood in general. I got the panels lined up. But the front drivers side corner sits just a bit higher. Enough to bother me, possibly not noticeable to anyone. Im considering putting a 4 x 4 under the passenger side and trying to tweak it a bit. good or horrible idea?
