Anyone have a part # for the right hood at Certifit.com? We have one like 5 miles form me and I just called them and they quoted me $90.50 and it seems too good to be true. Let me know, if it's the right part # I'm picking it up next week.......

Ive heard others says its $180. $90 does seem too good to be true.

Sure thing man.. Good luck and hope you score one. Really makes the truck stand out above the rest.. There is a place on 27th ave north of McDowell called Precision Truck. They paint all our company trucks, anyway, the guy there charged me $200 to paint the hood, 5 door handles, rear vent caps. Probably cheaper to paint just the hood. Mine came out better than OEM. Cant beat that.. The guys there do really good work.. Just an FYI..

No doubt, now that is valuable info. I live on 15th ave and McDowell! I was at a body shop down the block and they quoted me $300 for just the hood. I will definitely check out Precision.

Hey guys, is this the right hood? I'm not a body guy but if I can get it for less than $100 it seems like it would be worth it since it has to be sanded and painted anyway.....what'cha think?

Nice! Thnx guys. He threw me off because he said it was an 00-03 2500 hood and I have only seen them on 01-02's. I am waiting to hear back on the price, he has mad GM front clips so I am hoping he will let it go for cheap....

Hey Chistoso, I went to the shop you suggested and they must have hooked you up cause they quoted me $800+ to paint(not install) a hood and install and pain my roll pan.......spendy! He did say the hoods from certifit.com are known to have a lot of fittament issues due to the fact the are chinese reproductions.....
