I have a 2016 XL Denali and it rode great until recently, now it feels like a hay wagon. I bought the vehicle new and had 4 sets of tires put on within the first 12k miles. They finally put Michelin’s and it has been fine. I had the torque converter issue at 40k and was informed that GM was well aware of the manufacturing mistake. Also had the AC condenser issue.

While I love this vehicle is there any recent information about GM’s willingness or answer to the suspension “locking” issue? Currently have 48k miles so I know they will say no warranty.

I have owned a 2001 Yukon Denali, 2007 Yukon SLT and now i just bought a 2015 Yukon XL Denali it has the 22 inch wheels and the Magnetic Ride Control the ride isn't awesome once over the bumps and i can feel the difference between the stock 2007 and the 2015. Also looking at the vehicle it sits kind low on the front. I feel like it needs some kind of a leveling kit or something to be done to it.

try to extend the ride height sensor rode and trick your pc to think it is higher then needed and that should release some air from the rear bags allowing for a softer rear end feeling

I would have to think that at a normal/empty load in the back there will be no air in the shocks at all.

No doubt some people have unrealistic expectations of a full-size BOF solid rear axle vehicle. But a better compromise could likely have been had. Yes you should feel bumps but it doesn’t need to be as harsh as it is on many variations of this generation.

I love when I hear this, however, explain how the previous design had a smoother ride than the current esky/burb/denali? Yes, there are countless of improvements compared to the 07-14 models but I will say our older ones took the bumps much better than our 15 yukon and 17 suburban, larger wheels and all.

Regarding the MRC, I will say our 17 burb premier (with MRC +22" wheels) has a better ride than our 15 XL with 20" wheels. I know many have had bad experiences with the MRC but so far I am pleased compared to our 15 XL.

Mrc equipped trucks have softer front and rear springs and then the shocks can stiffen up for cornering. That’s one of the reasons mrcs ride better. Our ‘18 regular suspension Tahoe has much more cornering ability than our 03 and 04 did. It corners very flat but I hate the ride quality with 22s.

Something to consider. I found it very obvious in the ride quality for the front suspension. A lot more bounce and doesn't feel as stiff when you hit bumps and pot holes. Just used a M6-50mm bolt and 1" nylon spacer.
