2011 yukon denali just started give me a hard time pumping the gas stopping every few seconds. I know it could be a clogged vent but I don't know where it is or how to get to it. I never looked under the truck so not sure what I'm looking at

If you have no codes.
The carbon canister took a shit and now you have carbon pellets plugging up the vent hoses. The canister sits right above the center of rear end, disconnect the hoses and drop the canister, if pellets fall out. Thats your problem.

To remove the pellets you need to remove the gas tank and blow them out.

When I had this problem with our 2009 it was the charcoal canister.

Take a look at my Post below, good chance the solenoid vent valve is staying closed which is normally open except when ECU runs a purge of the canister. On my Hoe it located above spare which you have to drop to get to it. With key off unplug/plug it if it clicks its staying closed and tank can not vent when filling tank. If that's not the problem check Evap canister, it may be pluged up, it can be washed with water hose Google for how to on YouTube. BTW are you getting a code for vent valve circuit failure, My code is P0449. I am no expert just stumbling with my similar problem which indicates my ECU is bad.

Costco hooked me up with a tidbit of information. The service intervals on their pump equipment is pretty stringent. Sometimes one of the pumps that’s used more frequently starts to give customers more problems if they have a vehicle with it’s vapor system on the fritz.

The issue can be completely avoided in either case (most of the time) by simply turning the pump hand as close to a 90* angle as possible. It allows the pathway in the handle to breathe better. This, in conjunction with setting the handle stopper just one level slower will usually dial you in so the handle won’t click off on safety.
