Howdy everyone! I've been roaming the forums for months now, just collecting ideas and staring in awe at some of the sweet things some of y'all have put together here. This really is an awesome site, from tech support to opinions on mods. Took pictures today and racked up the courage to dive in with what I've got. Opinions and suggestions always welcome. I'm sorry the mod process is slow; money don't grow on trees in college! First 5 pics are older, before most exterior mods and LEDs. The many after the "Current:" line are the most current.

Stock:

Next trigger pull:
Replacement cowl to cover antenna delete
Corvette Servo (guide)
Head Unit, Back Up Camera

Future Mods:
Auxiliary reverse lights (guide)
Additional LEDs in interior (foot wells, cup holders, cubbies, cluster, switches)
Lift Kit? 2"-4" (something to look like this lift that is cost effective and maintains/improves ride, perhaps like this kit.
Well priced 18"-22" chrome on black wheels - Only if I still have the truck when I need new tires

"Dream"/Unlikely Projects & Mods:
Powertrain/Exhaust - If I do it, I'll do it all at once:
Electric Cutout Exhaust (Corsa to Straight Pipe)
PaceSetter LT Headers
6.0L swap
4l60e build to include 65 internals, extras

Overall Goal:
Truck that will last me at least to 2017 or so without a power train overhaul, while still maintaining a slick and powerful look that carries a theme similar to a police truck/on-road beast.

To-Do List:
Paint "grille support bars" black
Touch up scratches
Squeaky door fix
Aspirator buzz fix - help 1, help 2

Thanks for checking it out! Feel free to reply with any suggestions.

It's a great start. And good plans maybe a WAAG rear bumper guard, depo headlights and marker / bumper lights, either LED Taillights or candy the stock tails, either shave the emblems or paint them black. I like your dual side out exhaust. Maybe a Yakama rack? nfab steps

Never seen the WAAG rear guard before, will have to think about that one. Might add too much bulk. I'm just now starting to look into possibly new housings/covers for headlights, so we will see what happens there, although I feel the euro look is kind of fading. LED tails are definitely on the list. I just don't know what to get. Suggestions? Also, does the purchase of taillights include the LEDs, or is it just a cover/housing?

I'll post new pictures sometime soon with my emblem changes. Dipped front emblem black w/ chrome outline, and de-badged the longhorn on the rear. Will be dipping the rear GMC the same black soon, and finding a decent looking hitch plug.

What all does candying the tails entail?

I just bought a set of eBay smoked led tail lights and I love the look they have my Tahoe. I have a black 03 4x4. I'm at work but give me a SEC and ill try to go snap a pick. They looked perfect this morning when I was crunk up to come in just before sunrise

Led tails. They look great at night. I love em.

I also put white led bulbs in my driving lights. I plan to change the housings for my headlights and driving lights to clear with black backing and possibly do projectors but I haven't bought any yet.
Here's the front:

I need to do mod em so both daytime running and night time running lights stay on at the same time. (Note: The fogs look like they're different colors because my housings are filthy from driving into work).

When it comes to LED tails is there any "black backed" or "chrome backed" like with headlights, or is it just smoked or clear cover? I guess any sort of chrome would look odd in that corner. So I guess I'm asking is there any black other than smoked black?

EDIT: Also, do Denalis and regular Yukons have the same fitment for the taillight assembly?

Found these: Thoughts? I've seen some major hate posts on these forums for bad tails, and I trust the opinions here :p

I just wish there were images to better show what they looked like when the lights were off. If I'm going smoked, I want it to match my truck's black as much as possible.

Just noticed the specs say no lightbulb included... What does that mean in this case, since its LED? Is it just saying theres no halogen bulb in it, or does it not come with any of the LED bulbs? That's like 25 bulbs to buy and install :p

i'm sure its only talking about the reverse bulb. the leds are soldered to a circuit board inside the tail light aka not really replaceable.

go with the first choice. those ones look nice.

Yeah you'd have to buy a pair of led reverse bulbs or do the hid reverse light mod. You can get a pair of bulbs from eBay for like $9 shipped. That's what I did with my driving lights. Like I said the plan I was/is to buy better housings but I haven't done it yet.
