Google Assistant/Android Auto help please

You need to go to google assistant settings in the car and accept using personalized data (or something similar) by google in the car. Once I did that, commands such as “navigate home” started working for me.

Yep, I figured that out this morning--
Said "Hey Google" beep "Navigate to home" - Sorry you need to set your personal blah blah
Then I immediately pulled down the navigation bar (as PaulGA had said) and there it was, clicked on the notification and then clicked on the proper setting to turn it green and everything now works!

Glad to hear! But I wish GM made it more straightforward to set all the Google stuff up. Instructions about how it all works are pretty much non-existent…
