Still trying to track down my issues causing my higher fuel trim #s, missing at idle etc.. I have no codes.
I decided to check to see if I have exhaust leaks and I found 2 at the Y pipe connections to the exhaust manifolds. Did the old trick with the shop vac blowing air into the exhaust and spraying soapy water on the joints. The bank 1 side exhaust was a major leak as you can see in the pic. The other side was leaking too but nowhere near as bad but definitly saw lots of bubbles.
So I got the left side on and done no leaks but the right side I snapped 2 studs I checked to see if it leaked at idle and I'm suprised with only one bolt on it does not leak. I hacked it up and put a small c clamp on temporarily until I figure out what to do.
See pics. Any idea how I can get these out? I don't have air tools. I have lots of drill bits and a cordless drill maybe I can drill it out? Then I can just put a bolt and nut through it.
