Currently looking for a takeoff 2000-2002 HD hood in the St. Louis area. Hopefully will fine one soon. I noticed no one has made an actual “how to” thread on this with how they did the mod. Atleast by doing a few searches have yet to find one. Finally got the front end painted and grill set how I want it and am itching for an HD hood now. I’ll try to take some pics and make up a good “how to” for us GMC guys.

Also debating on smooth painted fender flares from the Tahoe... one thing at a time for now though

I recently asked @MannyB in another thread how he went about fitting a Silverado HD hood on his Denali in another thread. Since my hood is damaged, and I eventually plan on having it repaired or replace it with a clean junkyard find I've toyed with the idea of doing the HD mod if I come across one of them first.

2003 Yukon Denali, bought it in 2016. 175k kms (110k Miles for you yanks)

Put the HD hood on it asap, buddy had it sitting in his junk yard... I had the hood cut to fit the larger headlight shape. hood cost 100$ the labor and paint was 680$.

After looking at a couple who have done it, I really like the HD as opposed to the stock hood or a aftermarket hood.
