I've had both. Definitely get the G5 regardless of the appliqués. But if you have the $ get the Esky appliqués too.

Little off topic but do Denalis come with black applique and spoiler not matching body color. Just walked around dealer during service and saw this. Exactly what I want to do is paint my appliques and spoiler black.

Not just denali's. It's all yukons. It's a Yukon only thing I guess.

If your truck happens to be white I'll trade you for my black ones and save you some money!

Wow you were right. It was a Yukon. Took another pic before that barely got the emblem but definitely a Yukon. Saw so many trucks today I got confused.

In the NBS trucks, the Tahoe was the model with the unpainted appliqués. In the NNBS trucks, the Yukons got the unpainted treatment. No idea why. Completely breaks up the flow of the back of the truck.

I actually like the black. It makes it look like the back Window wraps around.

Just like this members truck from the forum. Looks good

I think it WOULD look like the window wrapped around IF the color of the roof ran all the way back and around at the top of the appliqué… But, since the roof line paint stops abruptly at the appliqué edge, and the appliqué has the extended roof line ridge in it but is unpainted/black there, it just looks unpainted to me. Same with the spoiler. Looks like you added them but didn't get around to painting them yet.

The Range Rover and even Explorer got the look of the roof/rear pillar correct. Not so much on the Yukon.

Now, if you extended the roof pain back around the top of the applique, THAT could look really good.

Here's the only pic I had on my phone. But I have the top of the applique painted to make it flow better.

Thanks. The entire roof and spoiler is painted black so it flows well together.

But in the NBS Tahoe it was unpainted and the NNBS yukon has them painted gloss black, right?

Yes. I said "unpainted treatment," meaning that that's how they look to me -- unpainted.

Gloss paint or not, I don't like the look.

Clean hoe. Is that a 2/4 on 24 in wheels?

Yea that pic is when I had a 2/4 drop with DJM rear springs on 24's. I have since switched the rear to belltech 5305 springs with the spacer in, which is about a 3 inch drop.

Could anyone tell me if turn signals are led on the g4 or if it utilizes the bulb at the bottom?
