Fuel shuts off at 112MPH

Ok, not the smartest move; however I wanted to see what the truck could do.

I was moving at highway speeds about 65-70MPH and let her have it. She accelerated very quickly and startled me at 112MPH with the fuel cut off. It picked right back up as speed dropped.

The truck handled very smoothly for the speed. I'm not interested in doing it again, just thought I would put it out there.

Hmmmmm..... I wonder if it phoned home or called your insurance company!
That and your tires are probably rated 88mph.
Glad you and everybody else survived.

Yes the 2021 large GM SUV's have locked ECU's. You could get another ECU installed which can be programmed like some are doing with the Corvette's where they are running dual ECU's. At that point you can then also do more fun stuff like adding a supercharger.
